Why was a shopper's prepaid Visa charge declined?

This card functions like a debit card, so it will only authorize purchases for the total amount available on the card. Oftentimes, shoppers view this card like a gift card and will try to apply it to a purchase that is over the amount available on the card, resulting in a decline. 

CS Macro: Your card is like any other Visa debit card and may be refused due to several reasons. Check that your card still has a sufficient balance. Also double check that you added the correct card number, name, and address. Additionally, if the card has a small amount available, a workaround you can offer shoppers is to add the card to their Apple wallet.

CS Macro: If you'd like to add this Visa to your Apple wallet, you can complete the following steps: 

1.  Go to your Wallet
2. Click the "+" in the top right corner of the screen
3.  Enter the virtual Visa card details
4.  You will be prompted to verify the card. Please choose the Email option. This will reroute the email to your personal email. The email will come from (ENTERBRANDNAME)@getfondue.com and the subject line will be Your CashBack Visa Verification Code
5. The email will contain a code, which you can enter in your wallet to verify and add the card.
