Tiered Promotions

Overview

Fondue's tiered cashback promotion allows merchants to offer different cashback amounts based on a shopper's cart total. This guide walks you through setting up a tiered cashback promotion, how it appears to shoppers, and how it updates dynamically as they shop.

    • Select Fixed Dollar Amount CashBack
  3. Define CashBack Tiers
    • Set conditions for cashback based on cart totals.
    • Ensure the cashback amount is lower than the cart threshold.
    • Example Tiers:
      • Cart over $50$10 cashback
      • Cart over $100$15 cashback
      • Cart over $200$20 cashback
    • Click Add Tier to create multiple levels.
  1. Apply to Products
    • Choose if the promotion applies to all products.
    • Enable cashback for the first subscription payment if desired.
  2. Finalize Promotion
    • Click Create & Activate
    • Copy the cashback UTM and apply it anywhere you promote your store’s URL.

Shopper Experience

On-Site Display

  • Shoppers see a cashback notification bubble.
  • Expanding the bubble reveals a progress bar indicating the next tier.
  • Cashback can be redeemed as a prepaid card or store credit.

Live Cart Updates

  • Adding items updates the cashback eligibility in real-time.
  • Example:
    • Adding an item worth $25 shows: "You're $25 away from earning $10 back."
    • Adding more items until the cart reaches $75 updates: "You’re getting $10 back. Only $25 away from the next tier."

Checkout Integration

  • The cashback tier is displayed in the checkout extension.
  • Removing an item recalculates cashback eligibility.
  • Shoppers always see their accurate cashback amount at checkout.

With Fondue's tiered cashback promotions, merchants can incentivize higher cart values while giving shoppers clear, real-time rewards. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to support. Happy selling!
