CashBack Redemption Limits
CashBack Redemption Limits help you add extra guardrails to your promotions so you can protect margins and confidently scale acquisition offers.
With this feature, CashBack promotions can be set to single-use per customer per promotion (or updated to unlimited use if preferred).
About Redemption Limits
Single-use redemption limits (default)
- All CashBack promotions now default to Single-Use. This means each customer can redeem a specific promotion one time. Brands can also configure their promotions to be redeemed an unlimited amount of times.
Automatic suspension for repeat redemptions
- If a customer attempts to redeem the same promotion more than once, the reward will be automatically marked Suspended in Fondue.
- Manually unsuspend CashBack
- If needed, merchants can override the suspension and manually unsuspend the CashBack reward.
Configure Redemption Limits in Promotions
To set a CashBack promotion to single-use or unlimited:
- Go to Promotions
- Select your CashBack promotion

Open Promotion settings
Choose your redemption limit:
- Single-use, or
- Unlimited
Unsuspend a CashBack reward
To unsuspend a reward marked Suspended:
- Go to Orders & Rewards
- Select CashBack Orders
- Find the order marked Suspended
- Click into the order
- Click Actions → Unsuspend CashBack
