What’s a gift card boost?
The gift card boost is a way to incentivize shoppers to select a gift card to return to your store and is awarded in addition to the CashBack promotion. For example, let’s say you are running a 20% CashBack promotion and have a 25% gift card boost. If a shopper makes a $50 purchase, they’ll receive $10 CashBack. If they select a gift card to your store as their CashBack method instead of a virtual Visa, they’d receive a 25% boost to the $10 CashBack, making their total CashBack received $12.50.
By default, the boost is set to 25% and the average brand uses a 30% boost.
Please note that this boost only applies to gift cards to your store and not Visa prepaid cards.
